Amy Shelton

Dr Amy Shelton is an Associate Project Director at Agilia with over 13 years’ experience leading complex, nationally significant infrastructure in highly regulated environments.

Amy has worked extensively on the UK’s Geological Disposal Facility (GDF) programme, integrating technical, social, and stakeholder insight to inform critical programme and government decisions.

A Chartered Chemist with a PhD in Radiochemistry, she combines technical expertise with a pragmatic advisory approach, with particular experience in navigating uncertainty in challenging political and community context.
