Jack Grigg
Jack is a Project Director and has over 10 years of professional experience in major infrastructure project delivery on HS2. Jack began his career in Government and worked for the International Monetary Fund and in central banking before he joined HS2 Ltd, initially to lead their business case development and economic analysis team.
Jack was Chief of Staff at HS2 Ltd, leading the CEO Office to provide strategic advice and support to the CEO and Executive team and driving the CEO’s priorities into the organisation. More recently, Jack was Sponsorship and Shareholder Relations Director at HS2 Ltd, leading the relationship with Government, owning the top-level programme requirements and enabling delivery teams to secure governance approvals, anticipate and manage change and build confidence in delivery programmes. He led HS2 Ltd’s relationship with Government to secure approvals for the start of major construction works and the award of rail systems contracts and led the organisation’s input into reviews by Government, the National Audit Office and most recently the James Stewart Review of HS2.
Jack holds an MSc in Economics from University College London and a BA in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
