Stewart Review - Major Transport Projects Governance and Assurance Review

Agilia’s Chair, James Stewart, was commissioned by the Secretary of State for Transport to review how the Department for Transport governs and assures the delivery of major programmes, with a specific focus on High Speed 2 (HS2). In accepting all the recommendations from James’ review as part of a wider re-set on delivery of HS2, the Secretary of State noted the report provides “valuable insights into the department’s approach to delivering complex infrastructure projects and programmes, drawing lessons not only from HS2 but also from comparable major transport initiatives.
