Julia Pyke

Julia Pyke is a senior infrastructure leader with extensive experience in the development, financing and delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects. She joined Agilia Infrastructure Partners as Executive Chair in April 2026.

She served as Joint Managing Director of Sizewell C, the new nuclear power station under construction in Suffolk. Julia Pyke joined the project in 2017 as Development Director and later became Joint Managing Director. During that time she helped steer the programme through key stages of development, including achieving planning consent, financial close and revenue commencement. She stepped down from the role in December 2025.

Before joining the Sizewell project with EDF, Julia Pyke spent more than two decades at the international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, where she became a senior partner and Head of Power and Renewables for Europe. In that role she advised governments, investors and project sponsors on major infrastructure projects across energy, transport and defence.

Julia Pyke currently serves as a Clean Power Commissioner for the UK Government and as a non-executive director of Studsvik. She is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and the Nuclear Institute.
