James Hampson

James Hampson is a Managing Director at Agilia, with more than 30 years’ experience delivering major projects and programmes in the UK and internationally.

Before joining Agilia, James was Vice President for Major Programmes at Jacobs, where he led infrastructure programmes across Europe, overseeing a portfolio of projects with a combined value of more than $250 billion. He began his career as an apprentice and progressed through to senior leadership, giving him experience across all stages of project delivery.

His work spans transport, energy, water, aviation and nuclear infrastructure, including senior roles on Crossrail, Anglian Water (@One Alliance), Sellafield BEPPS, East West Rail, Lower Thames Crossing and major projects across Europe and Australia. He has also advised government and clients on programme mobilisation, alliance models and delivery strategy.

James is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
