Playing our part in the Race to Zero

Agilia is delighted to be recognised by the UN Race to Zero campaign for signing the SME Climate Commitment.

We at Agilia recognise the importance of supporting the world’s transition to a sustainable and low carbon economy. We aim to lead by example in our own operations and have therefore made a commitment via the SME Climate Hub to halve our carbon emissions by 2030, and to become carbon neutral by reaching Net Zero no later than 2050.

The SME Climate Commitment is the official pathway for small and medium sized businesses to join the Race to Zero. The SME Climate Hub is co-hosted by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Exponential Roadmap Initiative, the We Mean Business coalition and the United Nations Race to Zero campaign.

The United Nations’ Race to Zero is the UN-backed global campaign rallying non-state actors – including companies, cities, regions, financial and educational institutions – to take rigorous and immediate action to halve global emissions by 2030 and deliver a healthier, fairer zero carbon world in time. Other SMEs like us who are wanting to join the commitment to Net Zero can do so by visiting www.smeclimatehub.org.

As part of our commitment, we have formulated a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP), which details our current carbon emissions and how we plan to reduce them to Net Zero. Agilia’s CRP can be found below.
