Who we are

We are a specialist consultancy with extensive experience delivering major infrastructure projects. We were established in 2016 by the team responsible for developing the ground-breaking model for the Thames Tideway Tunnel. 

The Agilia team has been right at the heart of some of the most exciting and challenging projects in the UK and across the world. Motivated by the principles of social responsibility, we are connected to the people, communities and environments we serve.

Our mission to inspire sustainable improvement in the delivery of major infrastructure projects whilst developing the future leaders of our field. We’ve seen time and time again how values make a difference.


Our EOT

In April 2023, Agilia’s ownership structure changed and is now constituted as an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT).  

This is a hugely positive step for us and will align our business even more closely with the needs of our clients.  

Our change in ownership structure has been prompted by a desire to ensure that we embed a long-term sustainable structure for the business. We also wanted our organisation to more closely reflect what we aim to do on the projects we are engaged to deliver. This includes creating project and organisational structures, which promote collective commercial and value alignment to serve a wider purpose.  

We also consider that moving to an EOT will support the further development of our people as we continue to nurture future leaders of the infrastructure sector. 

The benefits of moving to an EOT are beginning to be more widely recognised and in recent years employee-owned businesses have become an increasingly popular option for growing and dynamic SMEs. They achieve higher productivity, greater levels of innovation and are more sustainable.

How we work

As an SME without big overheads, we are able to carefully select the work we do. Our resource pool is extensive. In addition to our diverse and talented in-house team, we have an excellent network of expert associates drawn from specialists in financing, project management, procurement and policy implementation. We draw on our associates to provide the best possible offering to our clients.
